Although winter is still to come and the autumn in Wroclaw is quite pleasant this year, it is high time to think about winter sports. Especially that the ice skaters have already had the skating season started at the beginning of October. Where can we ice skate in Wroclaw and how much does it cost?
In Wroclaw, we like sports and we like to make things easy for all amateurs of active recreation. There is a number of ice rinks, and although some like to stick to the old Polish ways and complain stating that there could be more of them, we are happy with quite a few we have. And what is more - all are located in the most popular parts of the city and easy to access not only from the city centre. Some people still remember the ice rink in the centre of Wroclaw’s Main Square - winter slide in this incredible location was a real attraction! Unfortunately, it’ll stay in the past and we all need to move to other places.
Hala Orbita

This ice rink is situated in the close proximity to Hala Orbita, so you can visit both.

Wroclaw is not a place to be bored, even in the wintertime, and all those who complain about the low temperature should get wormed up... by doing sports activities. And ice skating seems like a perfect solution for that. Especially, when you can combine it with mulled wine - the best one is served during the Christmas Fair which starts on 21 November.
