How come has the Titanic arrived to Wroclaw? How does it relate to Millennium Falcon and Lech Walesa? The answer is easier than one might think. The common element is Lego. Starting from 7 November, the City Stadium has converted into the paradise for fans of the famous bricks.
The exhibition seems to be great entertainment regardless of the age. You can never grow out of Lego bricks, so it is worth to take advantage of the occasion and see the best of them. From 7 November to 7 February, we are able to enjoy the incredible constrictions at the City Stadium. Large mock-up of the Titanic, in 1:25 scale, with close attention to the details, is an amazing attraction. Lego’s ship is 3-metre high, and 11 meters wide, and 500 elements were used to build it.
Extraterrestrial constructions
But the ship is not the only hit. Fans of the Star Wars are everywhere, but not only they will be stunned by the 2-meter Star Destroyer. And next, we have Death Star, Millennium Falcon and Master Yoda. And the latter is still not the only celebrity at the exhibition. He is accompanied by Lego Barack Obama and Lech Walesa. And you can hi-5 only (or as many as) 5 Lego robots. It is really exciting to see what they can do and how they react to movement. Other attractions include very detailed train truck mock-ups, a fun fair, and even the mock-ups of martial law period.
Back to childhood...
If one gets inspired to create their own work, there is a fun zone designed especially for that purpose. This is, first and foremost, place for children. We can try our hand-made vehicles on special tracks. And playing with so many Lego bricks is surely an unforgettable experience.
Luckily, the exhibition is available for 3 months, so it is still possible to devote at least one evening to enjoy that event. Especially that this is when the entry tickets are the cheapest: Monday to Friday from 7:30 p.m. till 9 p.m., the price is only PLN 12. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - it is PLN 15, and from 4:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. - PLN 19. Weekends are more expensive: PLN 21, or - if you get the tickets on-line - PLN 19.
