The city is full of Sun… but where is the water?

Real summer heat has come to Wroclaw, and there is no better place to spend the sunny days than by the water. Here are some suggestions for those who would like to rest, cool down and feel the holiday vibe without getting away from the city.

Glinianki

Address: Kosmonautów Street No. 2
Access: tram is the easiest option  – 3, 10, 20 you have to get off one stop after the City Stadium; or tram 33 and bus 128 get off on Pilczyce stop
Price: normal - 8 PLN, discount - 6 PLN

This is the most popular place for the locals to go rest by the water. There are 3 lakes, wakepark, beach, volleyball field, possibility of having a BBQ…. It doesn’t matter if you want to lay down and relax or spend the day actively, there - you can do both, but Glinianki is first and foremost the paradise of the water sports amateurs. Enjoy the WakePark offer and learn what water jackpack is, go water skiing or boarding... And if you prefer more peaceful activities, you can rent a kayak or a boat.

Morskie Oko

Address: Chopina Street No. 27
Access: trams: 9, 17, 33 and untill the end of Curie-Sklodowskiej renovation also 2 and 10; bus D, 131, 141
Price: normal ticket 10 PLN (13 PLN over the weekend), discount 8 PLN (10 PLN at weekends)

Morskie Oko, our second suggestion, is a large water body surrounded by the green areas of Wroclaw’s Zalesie. Apart from the clear water and the 60-m-long sidle, the location offers a space to play beach volleyball, have a BBQ, and rest on a sandy beach. When you feel you had enough sunbathing, you can always rent a kayak with your friends and find out how Morskie Oko looks like form a different perspective. You can’t get bored with that! The location near the city centre and a number of attractive facilities make this place one of our favorite lidos. Check is out yourself!
